Truly, you shall make the best out of death so that in yourselves you may be full of peace and love as well as
full of joy and happiness and full of consonance (harmony) when you become aware of your dying and you
leave your world in which you have led your life; but consider that you cannot take anything from this world
with you, neither possessions nor wealth, neither food nor drink, neither jewellery (adornment) nor garments
(clothing), neither people of your kind (human beings) nor beasts or animals and other creatures who might
be able to protect you in death. |

Wahrlich, auch aus dem Tod sollt ihr das Beste machen, auf dass ihr in euch voller Frieden und
Liebe wie auch voller Freude und Glück und voller Gleichstimmung (Harmonie) seid, wenn ihr
eures Sterbens kundig werdet und eure Welt verlasst, in der ihr euer Leben geführt habt; doch
bedenkt, dass ihr nichts von dieser Welt mitnehmen könnt, weder Besitz noch Reichtum, noch
Speis und Trank, und weder Geschmeide (Schmuck) noch Gewand (Kleidung) Euresgleichen
(Menschen), noch Tiere oder Getier, die euch im Tod beschützen könnten. |
