Chapter 20Abschnitt 20
1) Confidence lies in people of your kind (human beings) themselves, also for all the time that still lies before your unused life (life still to come). 1) Zuversicht liegt in Euresgleichen (Menschen) selbst, auch für all die Zeit, die noch vor eurem unverbrauchten (noch bevorstehenden) Leben liegt.
2) All the days of your time to come (future) still lie before you, and therefore these are still free for you and unburdened, and not characterised by impressions, so that they are still as untouched as the purity of innocence itself. 2) All die Tage eurer Nachzeit (Zukunft) habt ihr noch vor euch, und also sind diese für euch noch frei und unbelastet und nicht durchdacht (geprägt) von Eindrücken, so sie noch so unberührt sind wie die Reinheit der Unschuld selbst.
3) You are still free from the efforts and loads of the coming days, and you still have not failed in anything because everything still lies before you and is open, such as the hours of the love, joy and happiness, as well as those of the joylessness, worries and sorrow, because you are still living in the moment (today), because truly nothing has yet been of the time to come (future), in which you will first have to live into. 3) Noch seid ihr frei von Mühen und Lasten der kommenden Tage, und noch seid ihr an nichts gescheitert, weil alles noch vor euch liegt und offen ist, so die Stunden der Liebe, der Freude und des Glücks, wie auch jene der Freudlosigkeit, der Sorgen und der Trauer, denn noch lebt ihr im Augenblick (heute), weil wahrlich noch nichts gewesen ist von der Nachzeit (Zukunft), in die ihr erst hineinlebt.
4) But what shall happen to you in the coming days and in the new time (future) is something that you already determine at the present time (now), therefore you can change much that was previously not good (bad/negative) in your existence (life), because truly nothing is obliged to be repeated if it already was once – and you shall not doubt this. 4) Doch was bei euch sein soll in den kommenden Tagen und in der Neuzeit (Zukunft), das bestimmt ihr schon derzeit (jetzt), also ihr vieles ändern könnt, das bisher in eurem Dasein (Leben) des Unguten (Schlechten/Negativen) war, denn wahrlich muss sich nichts wiederholen, was schon einmal gewesen war – und daran sollt ihr nicht zweifeln.
5) Truly, you think that you bring yourselves into the coming days and into the new time (future), but truly this is only partially correct because you do indeed live into the new days and into the time to come (future), but only together with the activity of the laws and recommendations of the life-giving (Creation) in which you are embedded. 5) Wahrlich, euch deucht (ihr denkt), dass ihr euch selbst in die kommenden Tage und in die Neuzeit (Zukunft) bringt, doch wahrlich stimmt das nur zum Teil, denn ihr lebt wohl in die neuen Tage und in die Nachzeit (Zukunft) hinein, doch nur zusammen mit dem Wirken der Gesetze und Gebote der Lebenspendenden (Schöpfung), in die ihr eingebettet seid.
6) And as everything in the extent of your world (all around you) changes, so you also change because everything is integrated into developmental change (renewal/change) so that there may be continuous advancement (progress). 6) Und wie sich im Umfang eurer Welt (rundum) alles verändert, so verändert auch ihr euch, denn alles ist in die Umwandlung (Neuerung/Veränderung) eingebunden, auf dass es unaufhaltsam Fortkommen (Fortschritt) gebe.
7) Therefore also no person of your kind (human being) is the same as another in his or her inner nature, in his or her inner world (consciousness), in his or her thoughts and feelings or in his or her psyche, in his or her character in all other things that make him or her into a person of your kind (human being). 7) Also gleicht auch keiner Euresgleichen (Mensch) dem andern in seinem Innern (Wesen), in seiner Innenwelt (Bewusstsein), in seinen Gedanken und Eindrücken (Gefühlen) sowie in seiner Artung (Psyche), in seiner Eigenart (Charakter) in allen anderen Dingen, die ihn zu Euresgleichen (Menschen) machen.
8) And no person of your kind (human being) will remain so in himself or herself as he or she is at the moment (currently), because everyone changes inexorably in order to unfold (evolve) so that he or she may fulfil the determination of the life. 8) Und es bleibt keiner Euresgleichen (Menschen) in sich selbst so, wie er im Augenblick (momentan) ist, denn jeder ändert sich unaufhaltsam, um sich zu entfalten (evolutionieren), damit er das Ziel des Lebens erfülle.
9) All life changes constantly, above all the people of your kind (human beings), both in their body and their inner world (consciousness), as well as in their psyche, in knowledge and in wisdom, in ability (capabilities) and in talents (skills), in thoughts and feelings, in the admonishment (conscience) and in the fertilisation of the truth (learning of the knowledge about the truth) or in the belief of godliness (religiosity). 9) Alles Leben wandelt (verändert) sich ständig, vor allem das Euresgleichen (Menschen), sowohl am Leib (Körper) und in der Innenwelt (Bewusstsein), wie auch in der Artung (Psyche), im Wissen und in der Weisheit, im Können (Fähigkeiten) und in den Talenten (Geschicklichkeiten), in den Gedanken und Eindrücken (Gefühlen), in der Ermahnung (Gewissen) und in der Befruchtung der Wahrheit (Lernen des Wissens um die Wahrheit) oder im Glauben der Frömmigkeit (Religiosität).
10) How and in what direction you people of your kind (human beings) change yourselves is principally dependent upon the extent to which you knowingly (consciously) involve yourselves in the process of evolution. 10) Wie und wohin ihr Euresgleichen (Menschen) euch wandelt (verändert), ist wesentlich davon abhängig, wie weit ihr euch an der Durchführung (Verlauf der Entwicklung) selbst wissentlich (bewusst) beteiligt.
11) It is truly important for you to lead your lives upbuildingly (positively) yourselves in a knowing (conscious) wise, or whether you have it led (guided) by other people of your kind (fellow human beings). 11) Wahrlich ist es von Bedeutung, dass ihr euer Leben aufbauend (positiv) selbst wissentlich (bewusst) führt, oder ob ihr es durch andere Euresgleichen (Mitmenschen) leiten (führen) lasst.
12) Therefore you can determine your own determinations yourselves just as your own thoughts and feelings, your striving for the fertilisation of the truth (learning of the knowledge about the truth) or in the belief of godliness (religiosity) – or you can give your own freedom in subordination (servitude) and have everything effected (determined) by external orders from people of your kind (fellow human beings). 12) Also könnt ihr eure Ziele ebenso selbst bestimmen wie auch eure Gedanken und Eindrücke (Gefühle), euer Bemühen um die Befruchtung der Wahrheit (Lernen des Wissens um die Wahrheit) oder im Glauben der Frömmigkeit (Religiosität) – oder ihr könnt eure eigene Freiheit in Unterordnung (Knechtschaft) geben und alles durch fremde Anordnung durch Euresgleichen (Mitmenschen) bewirken (bestimmen) lassen.
13) Consider that each new day and the entire time to come (future) will not bring any fewer terrible things and calamities with it for all people of your kind (humankind) than all the days and the time before you (past), because truly you are not better than your forefathers and foremothers (ancestors/forebears) who brought terrible things and calamity down upon your worlds and all people of your kind (humankind); therefore, in order for everything to change (alter) to the better, you must start in the moment (now) with yourselves and turn the terrible things and the calamity away from yourselves, otherwise everything will stay as it was in all the time before you (in the past). 13) Bedenkt, dass jeder neue Tag und die ganze Nachzeit (Zukunft) für alle Euresgleichen (Menschheit) nicht weniger Übel und Unheil mit sich bringen wird als all die Tage und die Zeit vor euch (Vergangenheit), denn wahrlich seid ihr nicht besser als eure Vorväter und Vormütter (Ahnen/ Vorfahren), die Übel und Unheil über eure Welt und alle Euresgleichen (Menschheit) brachten; soll sich also alles zum Besseren wandeln (ändern), dann müsst ihr im Augenblick (jetzt) bei euch selbst beginnen und die Übel und das Unheil von euch abwenden, sonst wird alles so bleiben, wie es alle Zeit vor euch (in der Vergangenheit) war.
14) Therefore see to it – but differently from your forefathers and foremothers (ancestors/forebears) in the times before you (past) – that you see (become aware of) the terrible things and the calamity and do not overlook anything so that you may recognise the evil in it and strive for all goodness which is waiting to be found by you. 14) Seht also dazu – aber anders als eure Vorväter und Vormütter (Ahnen/Vorfahren) in den Zeiten vor euch (Vergangenheit) –, dass ihr der Übel und des Unheils sichtig (gewahr) werdet und alles nicht überseht, auf dass ihr das Böse darin erkennt und nach dem Guten strebt, das darauf wartet, dass es von euch gefunden wird.
15) And consider that nothing in life is so quickly blown away (fleeting) as thoughts that could lead to the growth (expansion) of the knowledge and the wisdom of the inner world (consciousness) and to a life in true love and to gain (fulfilment) of the life-giving (creational) laws and recommendations, because people of your kind (human beings) rather follow the life of earthly (material) joys, instead of the joys and values that proceed from the truth and the gain (fulfilment) of the love and of the truly life-giving (creational) mightiness which is your own, but which you must find in yourselves through insight (intellect) and true discernment (rationality) in a knowing (conscious) wise, and must unfold to a high value. 15) Und bedenkt, nichts im Leben ist so schnell verwehend (flüchtig) wie Gedanken, die zum Anwachsen (Erweiterung) des Wissens und der Weisheit der Innenwelt (Bewusstsein) und zu einem Leben in wahrer Liebe und zum Gewinn (Erfüllung) der lebenspendenden (schöpferischen) Gesetze und Gebote führen könnten, denn Euresgleichen (Menschen) lebt eher den irdischen (materiellen) Freuden nach als jenen Freuden und Werten, die aus der Wahrheit und dem Gewinn (Erfüllung) der Liebe und der wahrlich lebenspendenden (schöpferischen) Mächtigkeit hervorgehen, die euch eigen ist, die ihr aber durch Einsicht (Verstand) und Klugheit (Vernunft) wissentlich (bewusst) in euch finden und zu hohem Wert entfalten (aufarbeiten) müsst.
16) Truly, a good effect upon people of your kind (human beings) can only be had by what is in you and in your inner nature which you knowingly (consciously) take in and use (process) in the same wise; and only through you knowingly (consciously) taking in and using (processing) everything in the same wise will there be sufficient reasons for you to let you find a truly successful (strengthening) and prosperous (blossoming) life. 16) Wahrlich kann sich nur das in euch und in eurem Innern (Wesen) Euresgleichen (Menschen) gut auswirken, was ihr wissentlich (bewusst) aufnehmt und in gleicher Weise anwendet (verarbeitet); und nur dadurch, dass ihr wissentlich (bewusst) alles aufnehmt und in gleicher Weise anwendet (verarbeitet), gibt es für euch genügend Gründe, ein wahrlich gelingendes (erstarkendes) und gedeihendes (blühendes) Leben finden zu lassen.
17) However, be knowing (conscious) that you can never experience the good (positive) if there were not also the bad (negative), therefore you would never know what is freedom in yourselves and outside yourselves if there were not unfreedom, and therefore there would not be any joy without joylessness, nor any happiness without affliction. 17) Seid jedoch wissend (bewusst), dass ihr nie Gutes (Positives) erleben könnt, wenn es nicht auch das Schlechte (Negative) gäbe, also würdet ihr nie wissen, was in euch und ausserhalb euch Freiheit ist, wenn es keine Unfreiheit gäbe, und also gäbe es keine Freude ohne Freudlosigkeit, kein Glück ohne Leid.
18) However, it is wrong that there shall be no love without hatred, because hatred is not laid down in the lifegiving (creational) laws and recommendations, but rather truthly love; but people of your kind (human beings) have the power of free determination (will), by means of which you can think out (form) everything according to your choice (discretion), therefore it is possible for you – instead of turning yourselves to the true love of the life-giving (Creation) according to free determination (will) – to effect (create) hatred, in which case you then fallaciously assume that this is laid down in a life-giving (creational) wise, which is however not at all the case; truthly, the life-giving (creational) laws and recommendations only secure that you yourselves make your choice (decision) and act accordingly, therefore you act in free determination (will) according to your insight (intellect) and true discernment (rationality). 18) Dass es aber keine Liebe ohne Hass geben soll, ist falsch, denn nicht Hass ist in den lebenspendenden (schöpferischen) Gesetzen und Geboten vorgegeben, sondern wahrheitliche Liebe; doch ihr Euresgleichen (Menschen) habt die Kraft der freien Bestimmung (Willen), wodurch ihr alles nach eurer Auswahl (Ermessen) ausdenken (gestalten) könnt, also es euch möglich ist, statt euch der wahren Liebe der Lebenspendenden (Schöpfung) zuzuwenden, ihr in euch nach freier Bestimmung (Willen) Hass bewirkt (erschafft), wobei ihr dann irrig annehmt, dass dieser lebenspendend (schöpferisch) vorgegeben sei, was jedoch mitnichten so ist; wahrheitlich gewähren die lebenspendenden (schöpferischen) Gesetze und Gebote nur, dass ihr selbst eure Auswahl (Entscheidung) trefft und danach handelt, so ihr also in freier Bestimmung (Willen) handelt, je nach eurer Einsicht (Verstand) und Klugheit (Vernunft).
19) If you want to live and act solely according to the truth of the life-giving (creational) laws and recommendations then you must first comprehend (recognise) them in order to understand their effect (mode of effectuation) of proceeding (origin) and decision (effect = cause and effect), because it is only with this insight (cognition and cognisance) that it is possible to act fairly (responsibly), righteously (conscientiously) and in fairness. 19) Wollt ihr allein nach der Wahrheit der lebenspendenden (schöpferischen) Gesetze und Gebote leben und handeln, dann müsst ihr sie zuerst erfassen (erkennen), um sie in der Weise ihrer Wirkung (Wirkungsweise) des Ausgehens (Ursprung) und Ausschlags (Wirkung = Ursache und Wirkung) begreifen, denn nur in diesem Einblick (Erkenntnis und Kenntnis) kann gerecht (verantwortungsvoll), rechtschaffen (gewissenhaft) und in Gerechtigkeit gehandelt werden.
20) And truly, as a light in the firmament (celestial body/star) can only shine against the dark background of the firmaments (universe), so you can only shine in fairness (responsibility) and in righteousness (conscientiousness) as well as in equitableness (fairness) if you step out of your darkness of your unknowledge of the truth by turning to the life-giving (creational) laws and recommendations, by fathoming (researching) them, grasping (recognising) them and understanding them in their effect (mode of effectuation), so that you may act according to them and therefore follow them. 20) Und wahrlich, wie ein Licht am Himmel (Gestirn/Stern) nur im dunklen Hintergrund der Himmel (Universum) strahlen kann, könnt auch ihr nur strahlen im Gerechten (Verantwortungsvollen) und in Rechtschaffenheit (Gewissenhaftigkeit) sowie in Billigkeit (Gerechtigkeit), wenn ihr aus eurer Dunkelheit eures Wahrheitsunwissens dadurch heraustretet, indem ihr euch den lebenspendenden (schöpferischen) Gesetzen und Geboten zuwendet, sie ergründet (erforscht), erfasst (erkennt) und in ihrer Wirkung (Wirkungsweise) begreift, auf dass ihr danach handeln und sie also befolgen könnt.
21) And acting according to the laws and recommendations of the life-giving (Creation) is the same as the allegory (example/comparison) of the surging sea that inspires you because you know the high tide that always brings the water back after the ebb, because if you fall prey to all kinds of terrible things due to you falling away from the truth of the life-giving (creational) recommendations or simply show contempt for them, then the joy of living and happiness will return to you – like the water of the tide – if you once again bethink the laws and recommendations of the life-giving (Creation) and turn yourselves back to them and follow them. 21) Und das Handeln nach den Gesetzen und Geboten der Lebenspendenden (Schöpfung) ist gleich dem Gleichnis (Beispiel/Vergleich) vom flutenden Meer, das euch berauscht, weil ihr die Flut kennt, die nach der Ebbe ständig die Wasser zurückbringt, denn wenn ihr allerlei Übel verfallt, weil ihr von der Wahrheit der lebenspendenden (schöpferischen) Gebote abfallt oder sie einfach missachtet, dann kehrt die Lebensfreude und das Glück zu euch zurück – wie die Wasser der Flut –, wenn ihr euch wieder der Gesetze und Gebote der Lebenspendenden (Schöpfung) besinnt und ihr euch ihnen wieder zuwendet und sie befolgt.
22) Always consider that your life is given to people of your kind (human beings) in order to bring it to fulfilment, for which you require the life-giving (creational) principles and all recommendations, through the forming effects (mode of effectuation) of which you can only live and learn, from which you can see (recognise) that your life is indeed precious, which is however only possible for you because you are knowing (conscious) that this is limited by death. 22) Bedenkt stets, dass Euresgleichen (Menschen) euer Leben gegeben ist, um es zur Durchführung (Erfüllung) zu bringen, wozu ihr der lebenspendenden (schöpferischen) Gesetzmässigkeiten und aller Gebote bedürft, durch deren bildende Wirkungen (Wirkungsweisen) ihr erst leben und lernen könnt, woraus ihr ersehen (erkennen) könnt, dass euer Leben überaus kostbar ist, was euch jedoch nur möglich ist, weil ihr wissend (bewusst) seid, dass dieses durch den Tod begrenzt ist.
23) Know, every differentness (contrariness) depends on each other (has a logic/precondition) like ebb and flow, like day and night and like life and death, because everything belongs together and is a whole (unity). 23) Wisst, alles Verschiedenheitliche (Gegensätzliche) bedingt sich (hat eine Folgerichtigkeit/Logik/ Voraussetzung), wie Ebbe und Flut, wie Tag und Nacht und wie Leben und Tod, denn alles gehört zusammen (ergänzt sich) und ist eine Ganzheit (Einheit).
24) All amongst you, know, if you are capable of insight (rationality) and true discernment (intellect), that this is the pure truth which you shall follow and in doing so keep to the life-giving (creational) laws and recommendations so that you have a good life in fairness and in righteousness (conscientiousness), as well as in responsibility. 24) Alle unter euch, wisst, wenn ihr der Einsicht (Vernunft) und der Klugheit (Verstand) befähigt seid, dass dies die reine Wahrheit ist, der ihr folgen und dabei die lebenspendenden (schöpferischen) Gesetze und Gebote einhalten sollt, auf dass ihr ein gutes Leben habt in Gerechtigkeit und in Rechtschaffenheit (Gewissenhaftigkeit) wie auch im Gerechten (Verantwortungsvollen).
25) Truly, you do not want the untruthful (false/negative) and not the evil and therefore not the bad (negative), just as also not affliction, not lovelessness, not unright, not inequity, not unrighteousness (consciencelessness), not badness (the dishonourable), not unfairness (irresponsibility), not unfreedom, not unpeace and not dissonance (disharmony) and nothing else that is villainous (heinous). 25) Wahrlich, ihr wollt nicht das Unwahrhaftige (Falsche/Negative) und nicht das Verrufene (Böse) und also nicht das Schlechte (Negative), wie auch nicht das Leid, nicht die Lieblosigkeit, nicht das Unrecht, nicht die Ungerechtigkeit, nicht die Unrechtschaffenheit (Gewissenlosigkeit), nicht die Schlechtigkeit (das Unehrenhafte), nicht das Ungerechte (Verantwortungslose), nicht die Unfreiheit, nicht den Unfrieden und nicht die Ungleichstimmung (Disharmonie) und sonst nichts, was des Niederträchtigen (Verwerflichen) ist.
26) Just as, however, you do not want the untruthful (false/negative) but rather the truthful (good/upright/positive), so at the same time you overlook the fact that precisely these pernicious (negative) things of the untruthful (false) are the prerequisites for the possibility that you are able to effectuate (create) all good (positive) things and values in yourselves, which are true love, internal and external freedom as well as peace and consonance (harmony) in yourselves and in the extent (amply) amongst people of your kind (human beings) individually as well as amongst all people of your kind (humankind). 26) So ihr aber nicht das Unwahrhaftige (Falsche/Negative), sondern das Wahrhaftige (Gute/Aufrichtige/Positive) wollt, so überseht ihr dabei, dass genau diese verderblichen (negativen) Dinge des Unwahrhaftigen (Falschen) die Voraussetzungen sind für die Möglichkeit, auf dass ihr alle guten (positiven) Dinge und Werte in euch zu bewirken (erschaffen) vermögt, die da sind die wahre Liebe, die innere und äussere Freiheit sowie der Frieden und die Gleichstimmung (Harmonie) in euch und im Umfang (umfänglich) unter Euresgleichen (Menschen) einzelnen wie auch unter allen Euresgleichen (Menschheit).
27) Truly, you shall not effectuate (create) the untruthful (false/negative) in any wise in yourselves and you shall not bring it into life (not live it out), rather you shall only make it imaginable (conceivable) through your insight (rationality) and true discernment (intellect), thoughts and feelings so that you may have insight (recognition) of all terrible things at their root, so that you may knowingly (consciously) turn yourselves away from them before they can become effective (active). 27) Wahrlich sollt ihr aber nicht das Unwahrhaftige (Falsche/Negative) jeder Weise in euch selbst bewirken (erschaffen) und es nicht ins Leben einbringen (nicht ausleben), sondern ihr sollt es euch nur durch eure Einsicht (Vernunft) und Klugheit (Verstand), Gedanken und Eindrücke (Gefühle) erdenklich (vorstellbar) machen, auf dass ihr alles Übel im Grunde einseht (erkennt), auf dass ihr euch wissentlich (bewusst) davon abwendet, ehe es wirksam (aktiv) werden kann.
28) Therefore it is not given through the life-giving (creational) laws and recommendations that the untruthful (false/negative) shall be effectuated (created) in yourselves and serve as a cause for a decision (effect), because truthly it shall only serve as a source (means) of observation (imagination) for cognition and understanding (comprehension). (= The untruthfulnesses [the false/negative in any form] shall not be active and not become acute and therefore not break out, but be solely and exclusively created and become conscious in the imagination for the purpose of recognising (seeing) the false and the negative in it in order to take measures against it so that it cannot gain might over human beings and therefore cannot become active inwardly or outwards, and cannot come to an upsurge.) 29) If you are undisguised (truly open) in your world of thoughts then you would like nothing better than to avoid and remove (eradicate) everything that belongs to the extent (realm) of the untruthful (false/negative), however this may only be done in such a wise that all that is removed (eradicated) is what is really vigourous (active) and ausgeartet in the untruthful (false/negative) and is therefore lived; however the source (means) of viewing (imagining) for reaching the cognition of understanding (comprehending) may not be broken off (switched off), otherwise it will be (it will happen) that the internal whole (unity) of differentness (contrariness) will dissolve, by means of which people of your kind (human beings) will lose equality (identity). 28) Also ist durch die lebenspendenden (schöpferischen) Gesetze und Gebote nicht gegeben, dass das Unwahrhaftige (Falsche/Negative) in euch bewirkt (erschaffen) werde und als Anstoss (Ursache) zum Ausschlag (Wirkung) kommen soll, denn wahrheitlich soll es nur als Quelle (Mittel) der Betrachtung (Vorstellung) zur Erkenntnis und des Begreifens (Verstehens) beistehen (dienen). (= Die Unwahrhaftigkeiten [das Falsche/Negative jeder Art] sollen nicht aktiv und nicht akut werden und also nicht zum Ausbruch kommen, sondern einzig und allein in der Vorstellung erschaffen und bewusst werden, zum Zweck, darin das Falsche und Negative zu erkennen [sehen] und dagegen Massnahmen zu ergreifen, damit sie nicht Macht über den Menschen gewinnen und also nicht nach innen oder aussen aktiv werden und nicht zur Aufwallung kommen.) 29) Wenn ihr in eurer Welt der Gedanken unverstellt (wahrhaft offen) seid, dann möchtet ihr am liebsten alles hintansetzen (vermeiden) und entfernen (ausmerzen), was zum Umfang (Bereich) des Unwahrhaftigen (Falschen/Negativen) gehört, doch darf das nur in der Weise sein, dass nur das entfernt (ausgemerzt) wird, was an wirklich Unwahrhaftigem (Falschem/Negativem) lebhaft (aktiv) und ausartend ist und also gelebt wird; nicht jedoch darf die Quelle (Mittel) der Betrachtung (Vorstellung) zur Erkenntnis des Begreifens (Verstehens) abgebrochen (ausgeschaltet) werden, sonst begibt sich (geschieht es), dass die innere Ganzheit (Einheit) der Verschiedenheit (Gegensätze) sich auflöst, wodurch die euresgleichliche (menschliche) Gleichheit (Identität) verlorengeht.
29) If you are undisguised (truly open) in your world of thoughts then you would like nothing better than to avoid and remove (eradicate) everything that belongs to the extent (realm) of the untruthful (false/negative), however this may only be done in such a wise that all that is removed (eradicated) is what is really vigourous (active) and ausgeartet in the untruthful (false/negative) and is therefore lived; however the source (means) of viewing (imagining) for reaching the cognition of understanding (comprehending) may not be broken off (switched off), otherwise it will be (it will happen) that the internal whole (unity) of differentness (contrariness) will dissolve, by means of which people of your kind (human beings) will lose equality (identity). 29) Wenn ihr in eurer Welt der Gedanken unverstellt (wahrhaft offen) seid, dann möchtet ihr am liebsten alles hintansetzen (vermeiden) und entfernen (ausmerzen), was zum Umfang (Bereich) des Unwahrhaftigen (Falschen/Negativen) gehört, doch darf das nur in der Weise sein, dass nur das entfernt (ausgemerzt) wird, was an wirklich Unwahrhaftigem (Falschem/Negativem) lebhaft (aktiv) und ausartend ist und also gelebt wird; nicht jedoch darf die Quelle (Mittel) der Betrachtung (Vorstellung) zur Erkenntnis des Begreifens (Verstehens) abgebrochen (ausgeschaltet) werden, sonst begibt sich (geschieht es), dass die innere Ganzheit (Einheit) der Verschiedenheit (Gegensätze) sich auflöst, wodurch die euresgleichliche (menschliche) Gleichheit (Identität) verlorengeht.
30) Truly, this misinterpretation (misunderstanding) does produce (result in) very many difficulties in life (life problems) which you as people of your kind (human beings) experience as difficult hours, days and times, but which you can understand (comprehend) and experience quite differently if you make it clear to yourselves that you only then truly have a full life if you direct yourselves according to the life-giving (creational) laws and recommendations and therefore according to the truth and bring about (form) truthly love in yourselves so that you also find your equality (identity) and you form your own character and your all-of-yourself (personality). 30) Wahrlich erfolgen (resultieren) aus dieser Missdeutung (Missverständnis) überaus (sehr) viele Schwierigkeiten des Lebens (Lebensprobleme), die ihr als Euresgleichen (Menschen) als schwere Stunden, Tage und Zeiten erlebt, die ihr aber ganz anders begreifen (verstehen) und erleben könnt, wenn ihr euch deutlich macht, dass ihr nur dann wahrlich ein volles Leben habt, wenn ihr euch nach den lebenspendenden (schöpferischen) Gesetzen und Geboten und damit nach der Wahrheit bestellt (ausrichtet) und ihr so in euch wahrheitliche Liebe bewirkt (erschafft), wodurch ihr auch eure Gleichheit (Identität) findet und ihr eure Eigenart (Charakter) und euer Eigen (Persönlichkeit) bildet (gestaltet/formt).
31) And truly, your all-of-yourself (personality), which you can continually widen until the moment that you depart from life, belongs to the characteristic things of people of your kind (human beings). 31) Und wahrlich gehört zu den für Euresgleichen (Menschen) ausgeprägten (charakteristischen) Dingen euer Eigen (Persönlichkeit), das ihr stetig ausbreiten (erweitern) könnt bis zum Augenblick, da ihr aus dem Leben scheidet.
32) And those amongst you who do not know, that shall be taught that this way (possibility) has to do with the fact that you as people of your kind (human beings) can bear (conduct) yourselves freely during your life and be able to determine (decide) everything freely according to your will, although you shall bear in mind that everything remains within certain boundaries (limits) which are set for you so that you may heed and follow the guidelines (instructions) of the regulation and the laws and recommendations of the life-giving (Creation). 32) Und ihr unter euch, die ihr das nicht wisst, euch sei gelehrt, dass dieser Weg (Möglichkeit) damit zusammenhängt, dass ihr euch als Euresgleichen (Menschen) während eures Lebens frei gebaren (verhalten) und ihr alles nach eurem Belieben (Willen) frei bestimmen (entscheiden) könnt, wobei ihr jedoch beachten sollt, dass alles in bestimmten Sperren (Grenzen) bleibt, die euch gesetzt sind, auf dass ihr die Richtschnüre (Vorschriften) der Ordnung und die Gesetze und Gebote der Lebenspendenden (Schöpfung) beachtet und befolgt.
33) The fact that you truly see (realise) and comprehend (implement) only little of this freedom of your right of determination (self-determination) is explained in your extraordinarily pervasive (profound) idleness (laziness) through which you turn yourselves away from the truth and from taking insight into the true life just as also you turn away from true love that is given to you along with everything else important in life through the lifegiving (creational) laws and recommendations. 33) Dass ihr wahrlich von dieser Freiheit eures Rechtes des Bestimmens (Selbstbestimmung) nur wenig seht (realisiert) und begreift (umsetzt), das liegt in eurem erstaunlich durchdringenden (tiefgründigen) Müssiggang (Faulheit), durch den ihr euch von der Wahrheit und von der Bedacht (Einsichtnehmen) ins wahre Leben ebenso abwendet wie auch von der wahren Liebe, die euch nebst allem Wichtigen des Lebens gegeben ist durch die lebenspendenden (schöpferischen) Gesetze und Gebote.
34) There is no phase in life in which people of your kind (human beings) necessarily find less sense, whether it be in the time of youth, in the time of middle (settled) age or in the time of old age (advancement in years), because each time brings forth its own laws of the life, exceptional (special) difficulties (problems) and special (particular) opportunities (possibilities) which you must meet (master) yourselves according to their condition (form). 34) Es gibt keine Lage (Phase) im Leben, in der Euresgleichen (Menschen) notwendigerweise weniger Ausdruck (Sinn) findet, sei es in der Zeit der Jugend, in der Zeit des Mittleren (gesetztes Alter) oder in der Zeit des Betagten (Alters), denn jede Zeit bringt eigene Gesetze des Lebens (Lebensgesetzmässigkeiten) hervor, ausnehmende (spezielle) Schwierigkeiten (Probleme) und gesonderte (besondere) Gelegenheiten (Möglichkeiten), denen ihr je nach deren Zustand (Form) selbst nachkommen (bewältigen) müsst.
