And it is rightful if you are not in a bond (marriage) that you lie with (have sexual intercourse with) one another in confidential unity (mutual liking), if you do not yet have a wife or a husband (you are single) and you
have come of age (grown up), but at the same time it shall be that a touchable companionship (open friendship) exists and not however a wild disorderliness (wild promiscuity) of changing partners with whom you lie
(have sexual intercourse); if you are however in a vow (betrothal) for a bond (marriage) to be entered into with
another man or woman, then it is unrightful if you lie with (have sexual intercourse with) others; and it is not
rightful if you lie with (have sexual intercourse with) one another if you are in an untouchable companionship
(platonic friendship) with one another. |

Und es ist des Rechtens, wenn ihr nicht in einem Bündnis (Ehe) seid, dass ihr in vertraulicher
Einigkeit (Sympathie) einander beiwohnt (beischlaft), wenn ihr noch unbeweibt und unbemannt
(alleinstehend) und ihr der Jugend entwachsen (erwachsen) seid, doch sei es dabei gegeben,
dass eine berührbare Gefährtenschaft (offene Freundschaft) besteht, nicht jedoch eine wilde
Ungeordnetheit (wildes Durcheinander) mit abwechselnden Beiwohnenden (Beischlafenden);
steht ihr aber in einem Gelöbnis (Verlobung) für ein zu schliessendes Bündnis (Ehe) mit einem
anderen Mann oder Weib, dann sei es des Unrechtens, wenn ihr anderen beiwohnt (beischlaft);
und es ist nicht des Rechtens, wenn ihr einander beiwohnt (beischlaft), wenn ihr zueinander in
unberührbarer Gefährtenschaft (platonische Freundschaft) steht. |
