167) Do not rebel defiantly against the laws and recommendations of the primal power (Creation) that are given to you so that you may do rightfully and impose prohibitions on yourselves for those things that are unrightful; cultivate your thoughts and feelings in equitableness (fairness), in righteousness (conscientiousness) and in virtuousness so that you recognise yourselves in value as people of your kind (human beings) and you finally do not insult yourselves as contemptible apes. 167) Lehnt euch nicht trotzig auf wider die urkräftigen (schöpferischen) Gesetze und Gebote, die euch gegeben sind, auf dass ihr des Rechtens tut und ihr euch selbst Verbote auferlegt für jene Dinge, die des Unrechtens sind; pflegt eure Gedanken und Eindrücke (Gefühle) in Billigkeit (Gerechtigkeit), in Rechtschaffenheit (Gewissenhaftigkeit) und in Lauterkeit (Tugendhaftigkeit), auf dass ihr euch im Wert als Euresgleichen (Menschen) erkennt und ihr euch letztlich nicht als verächtliche Affen beschimpft.
168) And consider the words of the true prophets who teach and announce to you at their time that you will certainly (without doubt) awaken on the day of your appraisal (cognition) of the truth of the laws and recommendations of the wellspring of the love (Creation) and will exert pressure on and eliminate the evil in you with grim anguish so that you bring about a resurrection of the good and truthly in yourselves and you can forgive yourselves. 168) Und bedenkt der Worte der wahrlichen Propheten, die euch zu ihrer Zeit lehren und verkünden, dass ihr gewisslich (ohne Zweifel) am Tage eurer Gutachtung (Erkenntnis) der Wahrheit der Gesetze und Gebote der Quelle der Liebe (Schöpfung) erwachen und in euch mit grimmiger Pein das Böse bedrängen und auflösen werdet, auf dass ihr eine Auferstehung des Guten und Wahrheitlichen in euch herbeiführt und ihr euch selbst vergeben könnt.
