Those amongst you who are stingy and mislead people of your kind (fellow human beings) into stinginess and,
in stinginess, keep secret what has been granted to you and what you have created and the wealth you have
achieved, so that you do not have to give to the poor and needy that part of which is their due from you, then
you are also practising deceit with the share (tax) that you owe to the people (state) for its upkeep and for its
efforts, in which case you shall be brought to punishment by the jurisdiction. |

Die unter euch, welche ihr geizig seid und Euresgleichen (Mitmenschen) zum Geiz verleitet und
im Geiz das verhehlt (verheimlicht), was euch gewährt wurde und was ihr erschaffen und an
Reichtum errungen habt, auf dass ihr den Armen und den Bedürftigen nicht geben müsst, was
ihnen davon von euch zusteht, dann betrügt ihr auch mit dem Anteil (Steuer), den ihr dem Volk
(Staat) zu dessen Erhalt und zu seinem Wirken schuldig seid; dann sollt ihr der Ahndung durch
die Gerichtsbarkeit zugeführt werden. |
