You have been created in your origin from the wellspring of all life (Creation), and you have made yourselves
companions as man and wife and have multiplied; heed one another and be afraid of doing unright to one
another so that you may be good to one another and make requests instead of issuing commands; uphold the
bonds of relationship between one another, because both as woman and as man you have entered into life as
people of your kind (human beings), therefore amongst you the only differences are the body, sex and the
nature (thought-world/feeling-world/character), actions and behaviour, feelings, the power, the attraction
(charms) and the capability (ability) of pregnancy; truly, as woman and man are in inequality (difference) in
these things, yet in existence they have common duties and rights so that neither the man shall stand above
the woman in any things nor the woman above the man; and just as man and woman undertake the same
work, so they shall receive their wages equally so that neither the man nor the woman is paid more than the
other for the same labours. |

Aus der Quelle allen Lebens (Schöpfung) seid ihr in eurem Ursprung erschaffen worden, und ihr
habt euch als Mann und Weib zu Gefährten gemacht und euch vermehrt; achtet einander und
fürchtet euch vor Unrecht gegeneinander, auf dass ihr einander gut seid und euch bittet, statt
euch zu befehlen; pflegt untereinander eure Verwandtschaftsbande, denn sowohl als Weib als
auch als Mann seid ihr als Euresgleichen (Menschen) ins Leben getreten, also unter euch nur der
Leib (Körper), das Geschlecht und die Eigenarten (Gedankenwelt/Gefühlswelt/Charakter), das
Handeln und das Benehmen, die Eindrücke (Gefühle), die Kraft, die Anziehung (Reize) und die
Tüchtigkeit (Fähigkeit) der Beifügung (Schwangerschaft) verschieden sind; wahrlich, wie Weib
und Mann in diesen Dingen und in Ungleichheit (Verschiedenheit) sind, haben sie im Dasein
doch die gemeinsamen Pflichten und Rechte, so weder der Mann in irgendwelchen Dingen über
dem Weib stehe noch das Weib über dem Mann; und so Mann und Weib gleiche Arbeit verrichten, so sollen sie gleichsam ihren Lohn empfangen, auf dass der Mann oder das Weib für
die gleiche Befleissigung nicht mehr gelohnt (belohnt) werde als der andere. |
