Coerced obedience is not the guideline (leading thought) of the teaching of the truth, the teaching of the spirit,
the teaching of the life, rather it is freedom of will in order to fathom out the truth in the freedom of will and
to understand it so that it may be accepted in the freedom of will and that life may be led and managed with
it. |

Nicht erzwungener Gehorsam ist die Richtschnur (Leitgedanke) der Lehre der Wahrheit, der Lehre
des Geistes, der Lehre des Lebens, sondern die Freiheit des Willens, um in dessen Freiheit die
Wahrheit zu ergründen und zu erfassen (verstehen), auf dass sie in Freiheit des Willens angenommen und mit ihr das Leben geführt und bewältigt werde. |

Be certain (knowing) that those amongst you who regard the guideline (leading thought) of the teaching of
the truth as coercion, you are feigning and are swearing falsely by day that you are connected to the truth and
its teaching, but at night you turn away from it and strive to slander (calumniate) and destroy it, but your
reward for this will be full of disaster; it is better for you not to concoct attacks against the truth-teaching, but
to be honestly connected to it and build upon it so that you may be bearers of the trust for the truth. |

Seid euch gewiss (wissend), jene unter euch, welche ihr die Richtschnur (Leitgedanke) der Wahrheitslehre als Zwang erachtet, ihr verstellt (heuchelt) euch und schwört am Tag falsch, dass ihr
der Wahrheit und ihrer Lehre erkenntlich (zugetan) seid, doch des Nachts kehrt ihr euch gegen
sie und trachtet danach, sie zu verlästern (verleumden) und zu zerstören, doch euer Lohn dafür
wird voller Übel sein; es ist euch besser, wenn ihr nicht Anschläge wider die Wahrheitslehre ersinnt, sondern ihr ehrlich zugetan seid und auf sie baut, auf dass ihr für die Wahrheit Träger des
Vertrauens werdet. |

Truly, do you not want to ponder on the teaching of the prophets and on the laws and recommendations of
the primal power (Creation), but do you want to continue to court with the untruth despite finding innumerable contradictions in it?; however, be certain (knowing) that the contradictions in the untruth always change
to your disadvantage and kindle a fire in your inner nature and in your admonishment (conscience) on which
you burn yourselves. |

Wahrlich, wollt ihr nicht über die Lehre der Propheten und über die Gesetze und Gebote der Urkraft (Schöpfung) nachsinnen, sondern weiterhin mit der Unwahrheit buhlen (hofieren), obwohl
sich in ihr zahllose Widersprüche finden?; seid jedoch gewiss (wissend) darin, dass sich die
Widersprüche in der Unwahrheit stets zu eurem Schaden wandeln und euch in eurem Innern
(Wesen) und in eurer Ermahnung (Gewissen) ein Feuer entfachen, an dem ihr euch verbrennt. |
