168) However, always be conscious that you are left up to yourselves in all these things and endeavours of the inner developmental change, because if you are serious about your inner developmental change as well as all the things that are connected with it, then truly in this process of the serious inner developmental change the status is given that you are actually alone with yourselves as human beings. 168) Seid euch jedoch stets bewusst, dass ihr in all diesen Dingen und Bemühungen der inneren Wandlung euch selbst überlassen seid, denn wenn es euch ernsthaft um eure innere Wandlung zu tun ist mitsamt allen Dingen, die damit zusammenhängen, dann ist wahrlich bei diesem Vorgang der ernsthaften inneren Wandlung der Zustand gegeben, dass ihr als Menschen tatsächlich mit euch allein seid.
169) In the process of your inner developmental change you cannot expect help from any god or tin god or from any human being or from anything else, because apart from yourselves there is nothing that could carry out your inner change. 169) In der Weise eurer inneren Wandlung könnt ihr nicht von irgendeinem Gott oder Götzen oder von irgendeinem Menschen oder von sonst etwas Hilfe erwarten, denn ausser euch selbst gibt es nichts, das euren inneren Wandel vollziehen könnte.
170) If, however, you consciously carry out your inner developmental change through your energy and power, then you will no longer expect help from outside, from anyone, from any god, tin god, angel, saint or demon or from the deceased, because in the conscious developmental change that you bring about in yourselves you are already free in yourselves and are able to see what your developmental change brings you in terms of that which is good, better and positive. 170) Vollzieht ihr aber bewusst euren inneren Wandel durch eure Energie und Kraft, dann erwartet ihr auch nicht länger Hilfe von aussen, von irgend jemandem, von einem Gott, Götzen, Engel, Heiligen oder Dämonen oder von Verstorbenen, denn im bewussten Wandel, den ihr in euch vollzieht, seid ihr bereits frei in euch selbst und vermögt zu sehen, was euer Wandel euch an Gutem, Besserem und Positivem bringt.
171) And consider, when you are free in yourselves that there is also great energy and power in you besides the fact that nothing else can be done wrong with regard to the developmental change of the inner nature; and once there is freedom in you then this has nothing to do with a defence, but rather with you being able to act rightly and freely henceforth according to your own discretion, precisely because you are free in yourselves and act out of the centre of your changed inner nature; and therefore you no longer have any anxiety and fear, but are henceforth capable of creating true love in yourselves and also living it out in yourselves to your fellow human beings, because when you have true love in you then you can do in the right and the good what you want. 171) Und bedenkt, wenn ihr in euch frei seid, dann ist in euch auch grosse Energie und Kraft, nebst dem, dass in bezug auf den Wesenswandel nichts mehr falsch getan werden kann; und ist Freiheit in euch, dann hat diese nichts mit einer Auflehnung zu tun, sondern damit, dass ihr fortan nach eigenem Ermessen richtig und frei handeln könnt, eben darum, weil ihr in euch selbst frei seid und vom Zentrum eures gewandelten Wesens aus handelt; und daher habt ihr auch keine Angst und keine Furcht mehr, sondern seid fortan fähig, wahre Liebe in euch zu erschaffen und sie in euch auch zu euren Mitmenschen auszuleben, denn wenn ihr wahrhaftige Liebe in euch habt, dann könnt ihr im Rechten und Guten tun, was ihr wollt.
172) And if you have created true love in yourselves, then out of this the process arises that you get to know yourselves and that you go in self-cognition in yourselves, which however in turn only happens through yourselves, but not through psychologists or psychiatrists and not either through any other analysts, through philosophers or those who arrogantly assume that they can be of assistance to you in the self-cognition, although they are not capable of this; therefore you truthly do not learn anything through them and you cannot learn anything about your self, but basically only about the one who wants to be helpful to you in the self-cognition. 172) Und habt ihr wahre Liebe in euch erschaffen, dann entsteht daraus der Prozess, dass ihr euch selbst kennenlernt und ihr euch also in Selbsterkenntnis ergeht, was jedoch wiederum nur durch euch selbst geschieht, jedoch nicht durch Psychologen oder Psychiater, wie auch nicht durch sonstige Analytiker, durch Philosophen oder solche, die sich gross wähnen, euch bei der Selbsterkenntnis behilflich sein zu können, obwohl sie dazu nicht in der Lage sind; so lernt ihr wahrheitlich auch nichts durch sie und könnt nichts über euer Selbst lernen, sondern im Grunde nur über denjenigen, der euch in der Selbsterkenntnis behilflich sein will.
173) Truly, what your fellow human beings such as psychologists and philosophers, etc. can teach you is not what you are in yourselves, in your inner nature, i.e. in your individuality, rather they can only teach you your characteristics, your peculiarities that proceed out of your inner nature, but not however the individuality, the specialness and uniqueness which go very far beyond the characteristics and are connected to the innermost part of the inner nature, which is of pure spiritual nature and belongs to the realm of the spirit-form in which the true love and the life are guided from out of the creational laws and recommendations. 173) Wahrlich, wessen euch eure Mitmenschen, wie Psychologen und Philosophen usw., belehren können, ist nicht das, was ihr in euch selbst seid, in eurem Wesen resp. in eurer Individualität, sondern es sind nur eure Eigenschaften, eure Eigentümlichkeiten, die aus eurem Wesen hervorgehen, nicht jedoch die Individualität, die Besonderheit und Einmaligkeit, die sehr weit über die Eigenschaften hinausgehen und in Verbindung stehen zum innersten Wesensbereich, der rein geistiger Natur ist und zum Bereich der Geistform gehört, in der die wahre Liebe und das Leben aus den schöpferischen Gesetzen und Geboten heraus geführt werden.
174) Therefore, self-cognition is not the same as self-cognition, and individuality is not the same as individuality, because truthly both things must be separated in themselves, indeed on the one side in the material realm which is outwardly expressed in you human beings and that realm which only acts in the inner, so therefore it is necessary to speak of a material and outwardly directed self-cognition and individuality, and on the other side of an inner one which really only acts through the power of the spirit-form in the inner of the nature and must be laboriously fathomed out in order to let it have an effect in the exterior, material self-cognition and individuality, fragment by fragment, gradually over the course of the life, as a result of which your being human in the real and true sense evolves over time. 174) Selbsterkenntnis ist also nicht gleich Selbsterkenntnis, und Individualität nicht gleich Individualität, denn wahrheitlich müssen beide Dinge in sich getrennt werden, und zwar einerseits in den materiellen Bereich, der in euch Menschen nach aussen zum Ausdruck kommt, und den, der allein im Inneren wirkt, so also von einer materiellen und nach aussen gerichteten Selbsterkenntnis und Individualität gesprochen werden muss, und andererseits von einer inneren, die wirklich nur durch die Kraft der Geistform im Inneren des Wesens wirkt und mühsam ergründet werden muss, um sie im Laufe des Lebens bruchstückweise nach und nach in die äussere, materielle Selbsterkenntnis und Individualität einwirken zu lassen, wodurch sich im Laufe der Zeit euer wahres Menschsein entwickelt.
175) It is only through inner self-cognition, which must be fathomed in the core of your inner nature, that you experience and learn what you actually are in the inner of your own self, which is connected with the spirit-realm, whereas that which is around the core corresponds to that part of the inner nature which is lived as individuality towards the outside and reflects the material character and the personality, out of which the behaviour and the actions and effort are also determined. 175) Erst durch die innere Selbsterkenntnis, die im Kern eures Wesens ergründet werden muss, erfahrt und lernt ihr, was ihr tatsächlich im Innern eures Selbst seid, das mit dem Geistbereich verbunden ist, während das, was um den Kern herum ist, jenem Wesensteil entspricht, der als Individualität nach aussen gelebt wird und das materielle Charakterbild und die Persönlichkeit widerspiegelt, woraus auch das Benehmen und das Handeln und Wirken bestimmt werden.
176) In the entire process, you must also look at and consider and bring forth a revolution of the consciousness, its thoughts as well as their feelings and the thereout resulting psyche-structure which may no longer be dependent on an external authority; however, this process involves great difficulties because what is important in the revolutionising of the consciousness, thoughts, feelings and the psyche, i.e. the entire mental-block is repudiating your own inner and demolished authority in which are anchored all your unimportant perceptions, cognitions, cognisances, your pseudo-knowledge, your practical experiences and the living of those experiences as well as all your views, ideas and ideals; truly, during your lifetime, you had things, happenings and experiences that have taught you something, but you have raised up all that which you have learned to a new authority in you by which you are ruled and which has just as great a destructive effect in you as an authority which is already thousands of years old. 176) Beim ganzen Prozess müsst ihr auch eine Revolution des Bewusstseins, dessen Gedanken wie auch deren Gefühle und das daraus resultierende Psychegefüge betrachten und hervorheben, die nicht mehr von einer äusseren Autorität abhängig sein dürfen; dieser Prozess aber bringt grosse Schwierigkeiten mit sich, denn gilt es doch, beim Revolutionieren des Bewusstseins, der Gedanken, Gefühle und der Psyche resp. beim ganzen Mentalblock eure eigene innere und kaputte Autorität zu verwerfen, in der all eure belanglosen Wahrnehmungen, Erkenntnisse, Kenntnisse, euer Scheinwissen, eure Erfahrungen und deren Erleben sowie all eure Ansichten, Ideen und Ideale verankert sind; wahrlich hattet ihr Zeit eures Lebens Dinge, Geschehen und Erlebnisse, die euch etwas gelehrt haben, doch habt ihr all das, was ihr gelernt habt, in euch zu einer neuen Autorität aufgerichtet, von der ihr beherrscht werdet und die in euch ebenso zerstörerisch wirkt wie eine Autorität, die schon Tausende von Jahren alt ist.
