265) And if a woman is having a monthly cleansing (menstruation) then the man shall not go to the woman, but stay away from her womb throughout the days of cleansing and for two days thereafter until she is once again clean; when the woman is once again cleansed then the man may go to her again as is given to you as a duty and a source of enjoyment; and all those who keep to the recommendation live in rationality and in equitableness (fairness) because they are the ones who keep themselves clean.
265) Und ist ein Weib in der monatlichen Reinigung (Menstruation), dann gehe der Mann nicht zum Weibe ein, sondern halte sich fern von ihrem Schoss während der Tage der Reinigung, und zwei Tage danach, bis es wieder rein ist; ist das Weib jedoch wieder gereinigt, dann möge der Mann wieder zu ihm eingehen, wie es als Pflicht und als Erbauung der Lustbarkeit euch gegeben ist; und vernünftig und in Billigkeit (Gerechtigkeit) leben alle jene, welche sich an das Gebot halten, denn sie sind die sich Reinhaltenden.
