31) You must vanquish the temptations and turn yourselves away from them from the beginning and thereby withstand them by keeping your thoughts and feelings away from them.
31) Ihr müsst über die Versuchungen siegen und euch von Anfang an von ihnen abwenden und ihnen dadurch widerstehen, indem ihr eure Gedanken und Eindrücke (Gefühle) davon ablenkt.
32) Truly, if you always consider the truth in all things then you will be called to watchfulness through your admonishment (conscience) against temptations, therefore you must knowingly (consciously) keep watch that you do not fall into temptation.
32) Wahrlich, wenn ihr in allen Dingen immer der Wahrheit bedenkt, dann werdet ihr durch eure Ermahnung (Gewissen) zur Wachsamkeit gemahnt vor Versuchungen, also ihr wissentlich (bewusst) darüber wachen müsst, dass ihr nicht in Versuchung fallt.
