Truly, you can commit evil and wreak calamity through your thoughts and feelings alone, but also through your
desires (vices/wantonness/pathological cravings/drives), false hopes and unachievable wishes, through your
words and through your actions and deeds, therefore however also through omission of all good things in any
wise. |

Wahrlich, Übles könnt ihr tun und Unheil anrichten allein durch eure Gedanken und Eindrücke
(Gefühle), wie aber auch durch eure Begierden (Laster/Lüsternheiten/Süchte/Triebe), falschen
Hoffnungen und unerfüllbaren Wünsche, durch eure Worte und durch eure Handlungen und
Werke, also aber auch durch die Unterlassung aller guten Dinge in jeder Weise. |
